Climate Bonds Initiative has joined the “Making Cities Resilient 2030” (MCR2030), a 10-year long initiative, together with other collaborators to strengthen the resilience of cities around the world. MCR2030 aims to ensure cities become inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable by 2030, contributing directly to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 11 (SDG11).
Within this context, CBI will do a presentation about Green Bond Basics and also an introduction to CBI’s activities and the role that aims to play in the MCR2030 Programme for a range of decision-makers and partners of this programme. The presentation, intended for those who would like to start the journey in climate finance and learn more about financing solutions for climate change, will introduce the main conceptual points to understand this debt instrument and how it can be used to tackle climate change and to promote sustainable development.
