We warmly would like to invite you to the upcoming side event at COP26 titled “Climate Finance in Latin America: Promoting transformation with Germany’s International Climate Initiative” on 5 November at 17.30-19.00h (GMT).

The German pavilion is presenting itself at the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) from 31 October to 12 November 2021 in Glasgow, Scotland. On November 5th, the event on transformation in Latin America will be held with the German International Climate Initiative. The event will highlight the challenges and suggested solutions for mobilizing additional climate finance towards transformational changes in Latin American countries and showcase selected and replicable projects supported by the International Climate Initiative of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety. Maria Netto, Financial Markets Principal Specialist Connectivity, Markets and Finance Division of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) will participate in the event organised by the BMU.
