Diploma in Carbon Markets

The Mexican Carbon Platform (MÉXICO₂) and the National Association of the Chemical Industry (ANIQ) present the Diploma in Carbon Markets with the objective of building the capacities of the public and private sectors, non-governmental organizations, consultants, and academia on carbon markets at the international, regional, national and subnational levels.

The course will be held from September 5 to November 14, 2024 and all sessions will be held on Thursdays from 9:00 to 14:00 hrs (Mexico City local time, GMT-6), with a duration of ten weeks. The modality is 100% virtual with transmission through the Zoom Platform. This course will be an open platform to be updated by experts, providing the participant with specific knowledge on project implementation strategies and their linkage with carbon markets. You will learn about the most important updates on national and subnational carbon taxes, emission trading systems and development of emission reduction projects.
