The next edition of the SPOC “Disaster Risk Analysis and Climate Change in Infrastructure Projects”, in Spanish, is now open for registration.
The objective is that at the end of the course participants will be able to:
• Identify the main elements of disaster risk.
• Select which type of risk analysis should be used in the preparation of a project.
• Make qualitative risk assessments and interpret the results of quantitative risk assessments.
• Make informed recommendations based on the results of the risk analysis undertaken.
• Define the characteristics of a governance framework for natural risk management.
This course also supports the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals No. 9 “Develop resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialisation and foster innovation” and No. 13 “Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts”.
