This year, the Dominican Republic became the fourth country in Latin America to publish its green taxonomy (June 2024) and the first in the Caribbean to establish a transparency framework for green investments. Join the Observatory of Taxonomies of Latin America and the Caribbean, together with CCAP and GFLAC, to learn about the process of building the Dominican Republic’s Green Taxonomy, as well as the next steps for its implementation.

Olga María Nivar Arias, Director of Public Offering of the Superintendence of the Securities Market (SIMV) of the Dominican Republic and leader in the construction of the Green Taxonomy, will be in charge of the presentation. Adriana Bazán Fuster, Micaela Carlino and Soffia Alarcón will ask key questions about the strategy for the use and implementation of the taxonomy, as well as the tools and the reporting and transparency mechanism, among other essential aspects, for the implementation of the Taxonomy.
