The Environmental and Social Risk Analysis Training Programme (ESRA) has been developed over time by UNEP FI, INCAE Business School / Ecobanking Project and GIZ to provide financial sector professionals around the world with a comprehensive set of training on how to establish and implement effective environmental and social risk management systems in their banks.

In response to the needs of the officials that make up the Social Responsibility, Sustainability, Regulatory and Credit Risk committees of the Association of Public and Private Banks of Argentina (ABAPPRA), UNEP FI together with its Partners are offering a Virtual Course on Environmental and Social Risk Analysis (ESRA), which will be taken by 26 professionals.

The objective of the course is for participating financial institutions to improve their competitiveness and contribute to the sustainable development of the regions where they operate, through the inclusion of environmental and social guidelines in their operations, such as the implementation of environmental and social risk analysis and management tools, which facilitate the identification, assessment and management of risks generated by their clients’ operations.
