Financing and Management of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Projects

The course offered by ALIDE aims to study the technical, economic, financial and regulatory fundamentals applied in the development of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. The existing barriers for the development of this type of projects will be studied, as well as the financing mechanisms to address them and the opportunities in the sector. To this end, concrete examples and lessons learned from various countries in the LAC region will be analyzed.

Participants will be provided with tools that will enable them to understand the functioning of the market in relation to various energy generation and saving technologies. In addition, they will gain knowledge on business models applied to asset generation and project financing in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
