LAUNCH EVENT & EXPERT WORKSHOP: Carbon Pricing Landscape and Outlooks in Latin America

Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) is witnessing a surge in interest across sectors and borders in carbon pricing and markets to support viable pathways to net-zero. This public event will launch a new report by IDB/ IETA and ICAP capturing the current landscape of compliance and voluntary carbon markets, with particular focus on Latin America developments, trends and outlooks. The launch event will feature remarks from IDB and presentations by report co-authors (ICAP and IETA) summarizing key findings and recommendations from the new study. A moderated panel of respondents from LAC government and private sector will then briefly share reactions to the Paper.
