The Forum will explore different aspects of how asset owners and asset managers transfer principles into practice. Topics covered will include stewardship across asset classes; transforming investment beliefs into action; getting started in responsible investment; and reviewing market trends.
All the sessions are designed to be of practical use to signatories. The series will help asset owners and asset managers build capacity and aid understanding around how to approach ESG issues within your business.
You can build your own agenda:
3 February 2022 – Getting started in responsible investment
This panel will explore steps signatories have taken to develop, implement and improve their approach to responsible investment. Covering practical responses to global challenges including the climate crisis and human rights, we hope that attendees will leave with some real actions they can implement in their own
8 February 2022 – Venture capital: how should ESG be adapted for the asset class?
Following the publication of the PRI’s discussion paper on responsible investment in venture capital in January, this session will explore why ESG in the asset class needs to develop further and how it can be appropriately tailored to early-stage companies.
10 February 2022 – Managing systemic issues through active ownership
All PRI signatories have a duty to be active owners, yet conceptions of and actual practice related to active ownership vary significantly. By bringing together leading practitioners from a range of asset classes, this session will explore whether and how those gaps can be bridged, particularly when it comes to tackling systemic risks
15 February 2022 – Transforming responsible investment beliefs into action
This session will examine the journey and main challenges asset owners face when moving from beliefs into action. It will focus on practical considerations including stakeholder education and management, implementation hurdles, and data challenges, among others. Participants will leave with empirical insight from peers
17 February 2022 – Modelling uncertainty in credit risk
This webinar, organised as part of the ESG in Credit Risk and Ratings Initiative, will explore the differences between forecasts and scenario analysis, in particular, how to consider different time horizons in credit risk assessments.
24 February 2022 – Market review: trends in ESG incorporation
In this session the panelists will explore key trends in ESG investing observed. They will draw on their research and surveys. The session will give participants an opportunity to learn about what the key trends are, how they are changing and what the implications could be for the future.
