The course will be examining strategies, risks and requirements for sustainable financial investment in the renewable electricity sector in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The course will explore current developments and trends in investments and sustainable financing:
• distinguishing between different sustainable financing mechanisms and their criteria
• analyzing the opportunities, challenges and enabling conditions for organizations to benefit from the increasing opportunities for sustainable investment, and
• determining the options that exist for the public and private sectors to issue thematic bonds (sustainable, green, social, among others)
