This event, which is the second of the series that takes place monthly until February 2022, will present an alternative under study to provide greater legal certainty and transparency for the issuance of thematic bonds compatible with the commitment signed by Brazil under the United Nations Agenda 2030, which defines the Sustainable Development Goals. The European experience with Green Covered Bonds and Secured Note will also be presented and discussed, as well as an agenda for the financing of the SDGs in Brazil, with the participation of financial institutions and associations representing the financial sector.

On the occasion, the publication “Letra de Desenvolvimento Sustentável: um instrumento inovador para o setor financeiro e de apoio à atuação do Sistema Nacional de Fomento” elaborated by the IDB will be launched.
