The Latin American Association of Development Financing Institutions – ALIDE, in fulfilling the important role that development banks are called upon to play, is committed to the wellbeing and health of the region’s population and to contributing proposals for alleviating the catastrophic impact of COVID-19 on the production and economic activities of our countries organizes “Virtual meetings of Chief Economists of Development Banks” with the aim of discussing – one year after the pandemic was declared – the priorities for economic recovery and regional impetus. On this occasion, they will discuss the Challenges facing Development Banks in boosting the region’s Economic Recovery and momentum as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
