A global movement for sustainable growth sprouts in the heart of Amazonia

The “IDB Invest 2024 Sustainability Week” was held from June 11 to 13 in the city of Manaus, Brazil. The event seeks to catalyze positive change, advance the sustainable development agenda and generate spaces for collaboration. Participants included CEOs from global companies, local businesses and MSMEs, as well as international organizations, NGOs, government officials and local communities.
The event’s activities focused on five main themes: i) impact investment; ii) climate change; iii) the Amazon; iv) inclusion; and v) the bioeconomy.
