BNDES and IDB signed agreement to invest in forest restoration in the Amazon

The National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) signed an agreement with the aim of structuring partnership projects between states and private initiatives that strengthen the Amazon bioeconomy, prioritizing the sustainable management and restoration of state public forests.
Within the agreement, the IDB will contribute with a 1-million dollars disbursement to the initiative. In addition to financial support, the technical teams of both development banks will collaborate with knowledge transfer.
