Cemex closes refinancing of a sustainability-linked loan
10/30/2023 Since 1 year

Cemex, a global leader in the production and commercialization of cement, concrete, aggregates and other construction materials, has announced the refinancing of its syndicated loan for 3 billion dollars, extending its maturity to 2028.
The refinanced credit agreement is part of Cemex’s Sustainability-linked Financing Framework, published in 2021, and updated in August 2023 to align it with its most ambitious decarbonization goals for 2030. The annual performance with respect to the metrics referenced in the Framework may result in a total increase or reduction of the interest rate margin of 5 basis points, in line with other sustainability-linked credits of investment grade companies.
