Chile presents draft of the Taxonomy of Environmentally Sustainable Economic Activities
01/14/2025 Since 4 weeks

The Chilean Ministry of Finance has presented the Draft Taxonomy of Environmentally Sustainable Economic Activities (known as T-MAS). The T-MAS is a public policy designed to identify and standardize when economic activities are executed in an environmentally sustainable manner, and provides clarity to public and private sector actors to guide investments and facilitate the mobilization of financial resources towards projects in this line.
The T-MAS is designed in order not to exclude other taxonomies that operate in the world, allowing it to be interoperable.
The Draft T-MAS is in public consultation from December 31st, 2024 to January 31st, 2025.
