Colombian Finagro has disbursed climate-sustainable loans for nearly 400 million

The Agricultural Sector Financing Fund (Finagro), a mixed-economy entity that promotes the development of the Colombian rural sector, highlighted that during the period from January to September 2024 it has disbursed climate-sustainable loans for an amount in local currency equivalent to nearly 360 million dollars, reflecting a 102% YoY growth.
Finagro will actively participate in COP16 (a global meeting for biodiversity that will take place in the city of Cali from October 21st) presenting its progress in agriculture decarbonization and climate adaptation in Colombia.
