Enerfín secures funding for the construction of a 129 MW photovoltaic plant in Colombia

Enerfín, the renewable energy subsidiary of Elecnor Group, which develops and manages investment projects in renewable energy both in Spain and abroad, obtained financing for the construction of its first photovoltaic project in Colombia.
The loan, for the equivalent in local currency of 57 million dollars, has been arranged using a long-term debt instrument, and was provided by two Colombian banks belonging to Grupo Aval -Banco de Bogotá and Banco de Occidente-, who in turn were advised by the Banca de Inversión de Corficolombiana.
The photovoltaic plant with 129 MWp installed capacity will produce about 263 GWh annually, reducing the emission of 132,480 tons of carbon dioxide per year. Start-up is expected by November 2023.
