Financial inclusion and sustainability will be on the agenda of banks and companies throughout the region

As part of the second edition of the Latin American Congress on Sustainable and Inclusive Banking organized by the Association of Public and Private Banks of Argentina (ABAPPRA) and the Latin American Federation of Banks (FELABAN), to be held on August 26 and 27 at the Palacio Libertad (former CCK).

The meeting is aimed at senior executives in the areas of sustainable finance, inclusion and financial education. It will also be beneficial for banks, microfinance institutions, cooperatives, fintech, insurance companies, brokerage firms and non-profit organizations. In general, for all financial sector professionals, suppliers and clients.

The first day will address high-impact thematic axes together with international cooperation agencies and referents of each topic: for example, topics related to the role of development banks and finance desks to promote a more sustainable banking, global initiatives and international regulations for financial inclusion and sustainable finance and impact measurement tools to scale financial inclusion and sustainable finance are planned to be developed.

The second day of the meeting will delve into more work strategies applied to the region: digital currencies and means of payment for inclusion, successful microfinance programs with a gender focus and applied to vulnerable communities, migrants, the elderly, thematic financial instruments, good practices and examples of applicability.
