FONPLATA completes new sustainable issuance

FONPLATA, the subregional development bank comprised of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay, has completed the issuance of sustainable bonds for an amount of 80 million dollars. This is the fourth transaction within its Medium-Term Notes (MTN) Program (registered in November 2024) and the sixth under its Sustainable Debt Framework (MDS), aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The operation was structured in two tranches: (i) a 5-year bond for 30 million dollars, with an annual coupon of 5.218%., and (ii) a 7-year bond for 50 million dollars, with an annual coupon of 5.349%.
