GEMs Consortium releases groundbreaking report on recovery rates for private and sub-sovereign borrowers in emerging markets

The Global Emerging Markets Risk Database (GEM) Consortium, composed of multilateral development banks (MDBs) and development financial institutions, recently published a report on investment recovery rates in emerging markets and developing economies from 1994 to 2022.
The objective of the report is to boost both public and private investment in emerging markets and developing economies, facilitating access to reliable data, aligning with the G20 objectives.
