IDB Invest and Grupo Hi-Tec promote access to financing for MSMEs in Mexico

Grupo Hi-Tec, a leading Mexican company in the marketing of computer numerical control (CNC) machinery in various industrial segments, has received a comprehensive financing solution led by IDB Invest for a total amount of 42 million dollars (including funds mobilized from institutional investors).

The operation will allow Grupo Hi-Tec to support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Mexico and promote green construction projects, thus promoting sustainability and economic growth in the country.

In addition, IDB Invest will provide advisory services to Grupo Hi-Tec related to the sustainable design of an industrial facility, the obtaining of EDGE certification, and the redesign of environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) policies and practices.
