The course arises as an opportunity for improvement and harmonisation of environmental and social standards within the IDB group.

The certified course is aimed at officials of government agencies implementing projects financed by the Inter-American Development Bank, project coordinators, environmental specialists, social specialists, consultants, construction and subcontracting firms involved in project implementation, project supervisors and inspectors and other public officials involved in the preparation and implementation of projects, civil society, and in general anyone interested in sustainable development.

This course is offered by the Inter-American Institute for Economic and Social Development (INDES) of the Inter-American Development Bank in the framework of the #AcademiaBID programme.
