Mendoza City (Argentina) completes its first green bond issuance

The Municipality of the City of Mendoza (Argentina) has completed its first green bond issuance for an amount in local currency equivalent to approximately 0.54 million dollars for a two-year term with the aim of financing sustainable projects.
The resources obtained will be used to install photovoltaic energy modules, with a capacity of up to 10 kW, in strategic places such as public spaces and municipal facilities.
The demand for the operation was mainly driven by insurance companies, mutual funds and banks.
