Parque Eólico Toabré from Panama announces green bond program

Parque Eólico Toabré, a private company in Panama in the renewable energy generation sector, has announced the issuance of its Rotating Program of Corporate Green Bonds, authorized by the Superintendency of the Securities Market of Panamá (SMV), for an amount of up to 200 million of dollars.

The objective of the Program is to cancel the entire Syndicated Loan Agreement used for the construction and commissioning of the Toabré Wind Farm Project and for the financing of future development stages.

The financing scheme will allow Toabré to contribute with the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), especially with the generation of renewable energy reflected in SDG#7 “Affordable and Non-Contaminating Energy”, SDG#9 “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure”, SDG#12 “Responsible Consumption and Production” and in SDG#13 “Climate Action”.
