07/03/2023 Since 1 year
The City of Mendoza, capital of the homonymous province in Argentina, has announced an investment of approximately 2 million dollars in its equivalent in local currency in solar renewable energy projects, to be financed through the issuance of a green bond.
The public-private financing will allow the development of solar projects in different public spaces in the capital city, whose generated renewable energy will satisfy the local energy demand and will additionally inject clean energy into the grid. It is estimated that the projects will totalize 1MW of installed capacity and will avoid emissions 743 tons of CO2 per year.
