The National Securities Commission (CNV) of Argentina made available to the public the Guide for Socially Responsible Investment in the Argentinean Capital Market, the Guide for the Issuance of Social, Green and Sustainable Bonds and the Guide for External Evaluators of Social, Green and Sustainable Bonds.
The presentation of the tools is part of the Agency’s Sustainable Finance Programme, designed to raise awareness among capital market actors on the importance of integrating environmental, social and governance factors in investment decisions. It also aims to jointly address the issue of sustainable financing in the country.
The objective of these guides is to present different aspects of Sustainable Finance in a simple and easy-to-understand language in order to develop a theoretical framework that provides clarity to the concepts and allows progress in the incorporation of sustainability in the Argentine capital market.
In this sense, considering that the path towards a sustainable financial system is built with the contribution of all the actors involved, it is extremely important to have comments from actors in this public consultation, in order to evaluate its incorporation.
To access the consultation and leave comments, please click here.
The consultation is open until 15 March inclusive.
