Argentina’s National Securities Commission (CNV) today authorised the first three open-ended ESG Mutual Funds, in the framework of its RG 885/2021 and under the special regime aimed at promoting investment in marketable securities with environmental, social and governance impact. These are the open-end funds “Bull Market Fondo Común de Inversión ASG”, “Quinquela Renta Mixta Sustentable FCI ASG” and “ESG ST Fondo Común de Inversión ASG”, promoted by Bull Market Asset Management S.A., QM Asset Management SA and Southern Trust S.A., respectively.

“The measure responds to the strong impetus that the CNV has been giving to the new sustainable financing regime and the promotion of instruments that encourage the issuance of green bonds with social impact,” said Adrián Cosentino, president of the organism.

At the same time, a comprehensive programme was launched that includes guidelines for issuers, certifiers and investors committed to generating positive impact in their investment projects.
