Banco de Bogotá and the real estate platform Habi formalized an alliance to promote the purchase of sustainable used homes in Colombia.

Habi is a real estate platform focused on used housing, which buys houses, remodels them in record time and offers them for sale at more competitive prices. The proptech will carry out improvements to the homes aiming to become suitable for achieving a sustainable certification by Green Factory.

Banco de Bogotá will encourage the purchase of these properties with an exclusive value offer, which consists of granting loans with a discount of 50 basis points on the current rate for each credit line.

The ultimate purpose of the project is to improve properties to take advantage of available resources and reduce the consumption of basic services. According to preliminary estimates, the remodeled homes could save up to 30% in energy consumption and up to 40% in water consumption.
