Casa dos Ventos, a Brazilian renewable energy company, issued its first green bonds. The issue totals an amount in local currency equivalent to around USD 82 million to finance part of the expansion of the Rio do Vento Wind Farm Complex.

The green bonds were rated AA by Fitch Ratings and have a positive green bond rating opinion from the consulting firm Sitawi, in accordance with the Green Bond Principles, according to criteria established by the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA).
