Peruvian Mivivienda Green Bond registers in July its best month in 2022

The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) of Peru, through the Mivivienda Fund, provides economic aid in the form of the Mivivienda Green Bond to people who acquire a property in a project certified as eco-sustainable. Eco-sustainable projects allow savings in water and electricity consumption, and therefore a lower impact on the environment.
The Mivivienda Green Bond registered its best month of 2022 in July with a record disbursement of 1,210 subsidies, which represents an approximate amount of 1.7 million dollars. The total number of green bonds granted so far this year amounts to 4,443.
