América Móvil placed sustainable bonds on the Mexican Exchange

América Móvil, a Mexican integrated telecommunications services company with presence in 23 countries, has issued a sustainable bond for approximately 1.13 billion dollars in local currency. This is the first sustainable placement by América Móvil on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV).
The proceeds will be allocated to green and social projects such as: investments in infrastructure equipment that generates renewable energy, modernization of equipment and network technology, and investments aimed at accelerating the deployment of the mobile network in areas at risk of digital exclusion, among others.
