First green fund of Venture Capital in Latin America

By the end of year 2021, the merger between Nazca Ventures and the Swiss-German company Mountain Partners Green launched the first Venture Capital fund in Latin America focused exclusively on companies that help directly or indirectly to reduce the carbon footprint.
The new green fund aims to manage a portfolio of a maximum of 100 million dollars, investing in approximately 20 companies at different stages. The fund will have an estimated duration of 10 years.
Some of the topics of interest include projects on climate-tech, water efficiency, waste recycling, sustainable mining technology, among other sustainable verticals.
