IDB launches fixed-rate bond

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) issued a new 3 billion dollars short 3-year global benchmark in the London Stock Exchange.
The bond pays a semi-annual coupon of 4.500% and matures on 15th May 2026. The placement was over-subscribed, with the final orderbook in excess of 4.2 billion dollars and over 100 investors participating.
Latest IDB’s 3-year fixed-rate USD benchmark was from September 2021. IDB had also issued 5-year and 10-year global benchmarks earlier this year 2023.
