IDB reached record financing and mobilization in 2021
02/02/2022 Since 2 years
The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and its private sector arm, IDB Invest, reported Wednesday that they achieved a record of nearly $23.4 billion in new financing approvals, commitments and mobilizations from the private sector, surpassing previously reported initial estimates for financial assistance to Latin America and the Caribbean in 2021.
That amount includes record or near-record levels of IDB financing approvals in priority areas for the region’s sustainable and inclusive recovery and growth, including health and response to Covid-19, climate change, supply chains, and digitalization.
