The event will take place on September 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. EDT.

Thirty percent of women-owned micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Latin America and the Caribbean face financing limitations. National Development Banks (NDBs) have a fundamental role in developing policies that create a fairer and more equitable access to financing for women.

During the webinar, we will analyze best practices for serving women’s MSMEs through NDBs. Additionally, two new publications from the Connectivity, Markets and Finance Division of the IDB’s Development Institutions Sector will be presented. The publications and the webinar are a novelty since this is the first time that this topic has been addressed exclusively in the context of Latin America and the Caribbean.
