AIIB and BNDES sign alliance to boost sustainable development in Asia and Latin America

The National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to deepen sustainable development financing and promote regional cooperation.
The main objective of the agreement is to explore co-financing and co-investment opportunities in projects and programs related to infrastructure, trade and connectivity between Brazil and Asia, climate and other areas of mutual interest. The collaboration also includes knowledge sharing related to strategies and policies to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
