The Brazilian company Alsol Energías Renovables, belonging to the Energisa Group and renamed with the “(re)energisa” brand since 2022, has received financing from the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) for an amount in local currency equivalent to approximately 140 million dollars for the installation of 49 new distributed generation solar parks.

The solar parks, with a total installed capacity of 144 MW, will be located in the states of Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. The energy generated will benefit more than 4,500 micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), and it is estimated that it will avoid emissions equivalent to 476,000 tons of CO2 over the 25-year lifetime of the solar parks.
