Brazilian Usina São Manoel raises around 27 million dollars in financial credits
04/18/2022 Since 2 years

Usina São Manoel, a sugar and ethanol producer from Brazil, received financing by an amount in local currency equivalent to around 27 million dollars through two transactions.

In the first place, it achieved its first issuance of infrastructure bonds within the scope of Law 12431/11, for an approximate amount equivalent to 16 million dollars due in March 2028. The second operation consists of financing via Certificates of Agribusiness Credit Rights (CDCA) for an amount equivalent to about 11 million dollars due in April 2029.

The proceeds will cover the financing needs of the 2022/2023 harvest campaign and will be used for the expansion and recovery of sugar cane production for ethanol production.

The financial credit operation is in line with its ESG policies, contemplating the environmental, social and governance criteria of the organization.
