BRF signs agreement with Banco do Brasil to integrate investment in renewable energy

Brazilian meat processing firm BRF has signed an agreement with Banco do Brasil that will provide 35 million for integrated producers to invest in renewable energy.
The funds will be used to finance the installation of solar energy panels on farms and environmental retrofits on the properties of the company’s integrated producers. BRF aims to expand self-production of electricity from clean, renewable sources by 50% over the next 10 years.
