The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) recently placed a new issuance on the Australian market, being its fourth operation of the year in said currency. The 7-year term private placement was completed for an amount in local currency equivalent to about 40 million dollars, with an annual fixed rate coupon of 5.00%. The proceeds will finance projects and programs that generate a positive impact on the Central American population.

Additionally, Standard & Poor’s confirmed in mid-September CABEI’s international risk rating at “AA”, with a stable outlook.
