Citrusvil from Argentina issued its first green bond

Citrusvil, an Argentine company dedicated to the production, processing and marketing of lemons and their industrial derivatives, issued its first green bond for an equivalent of 6.4 million dollars (dollar linked).

The instrument consists on a guaranteed Class I and Class II Negotiable Obligation under the special regimen SME CNV, and it is aligned with the four ICMA Green Bond Principles 2021. The placement presents an interest rate 0.00% maturing on December 30th, 2024. The issuance was placed by Banco Comafi, Max Capital S.A. Santander Argentina and Banco Supervielle.

The funds obtained will be used to finance projects linked to renewable energy, based on biogas produced through the treatment of lemon effluents, the systematization and control of laminar soil erosion in Finca San Rafael, and the conversion of the industrial complex lights system.
