Automotores y Maquinaria S.A.E.C.A. (Automaq), the Paraguayan representative and marketer of global brands in the agricultural, automotive, and construction industries, has obtained financing in the amount of US$15 million from IDB Invest.

The purpose of the loan is to strengthen Paraguay’s agricultural industry. The transaction will provide a working capital solution to align Automaq’s import financing terms with its cash generation cycle. It will also contribute to increasing responsible productivity in the agricultural sector through the acquisition of state-of-the-art machinery, improving access to agricultural machinery, and fostering trade with Latin America and job creation.
