IDB Invest issues $1 billion 5-year sustainability bonds

IDB Invest has completed the benchmark issuance of a USD 1 billion 5-year sustainability bond under its Sustainable Debt Framework. This is IDB Invest’s first placement in 2023.
The bond pays a semi-annual coupon of 4.125% and is priced at SOFR mid-swaps plus 59 basis points, equivalent to a yield of 4.210%, 38.5 basis points over the 5-year US Treasury bond.
Central banks and official institutions have subscribed to 45% of the bonds, while the remainder has been split between banks (30%), asset managers (16%) and insurance/pension funds (9%).
