The Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV) Group has published its annual report for the year 2022, in which it has reached all-time highs in revenue, operating profit, EBITDA and net profit.

The BMV Group’s sustainability strategy and initiatives are aligned with the 2030 Agenda and the 10 Principles of the Global Compact. Among the main achievements in terms of sustainability during 2022, the following stand out:

• 44% of the long-term debt corresponds to ESG, having issued 22 labeled bonds for a total value in local currency equivalent to approximately 4.4 billion dollars
• Listing of the first blue bond in Mexico
• Launch of the carbon neutrality guide
• Third edition of the Sustainable Accompaniment Program, with 393 participants from 210 companies from several sectors, managing to increase the knowledge and decision-making capabilities of the listed companies
• Scope expansion of BMV Group’s CO2e emissions measurement, including business trips, waste management, products and services, employee transfers
• Measurement of climatic risks and opportunities of BMV Group, aligning environmental reporting based on TCFD recommendations
