The alliance between the IDB and Bancóldex through the RENEWABLE ENERGY FINANCING PROGRAMME IN NON INTERCONNECTED ZONES also mobilised technical assistance resources to provide tools such as project finance analysis and environmental and social risk management systems. Seven banks affiliated to ASOBANCARIA (Bancolombia, Banco de Bogotá, Bancamía, Banco Pichincha, FDN, Banco Itaú and Bancóldex) and the Green Protocol of Colombia worked with the IDB and Bancóldex to improve their capacities and provide loans to renewable energy programmes in the country.
