This is the fourth in a series of six events on carbon markets, organised by the Green Finance Task Force in collaboration with the IDB and GIZ as part of a regional effort to share knowledge and build capacity on carbon markets.

The LAB series on Carbon Markets aims to promote a meeting point between local and regional actors in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) to exchange experiences on carbon markets and contribute to the debate on the emission reduction targets set by the Paris Agreement.

In this fourth webinar, we discuss “decarbonization certificates” and other carbon market instruments in the biofuels and renewable energy sector, analysing Brazilian programmes such as Renovabio, the Californian LCFS programme and the international I-REC programme.
