UNEP FI, UNEP, Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), IDB invest, eco.business Development Facility and its Sustainability Academy, GO4SDGs, Circular Economy Coalition organised a series of webinars to explore how financial institutions can accelerate the transition to a circular economy. The events were held in Spanish, with simultaneous translation into English and Portuguese, from June 2022 to March 2023.

The fifth and final webinar, held on 29 March, aimed to focus on the appropriate mobilisation of resources to finance the transition to a Circular Economy in the LAC region, highlighting the key role played by financial institutions and businesses.

In addition, during this last webinar the Report “Unlocking the financing of the circular economy in Latin America and the Caribbean: the catalyst for positive change” was launched and presented.
