The rapid advance of the global carbon market is not only a necessity, but a potential for Latin America and Brazil. Our region is witnessing an increased interest between sectors and borders transactions, in carbon markets to support viable pathways for zero emissions. In Brazil, there is a need for a clear path to address short-term challenges such as transparency and voluntary market registers, as in the region.
