CReCER conference is a knowledge platform that facilitates dialogue, debate, and dissemination of global best practices in accounting, fiscal and financial reporting and auditing, in support of economic policy-making and institutional strengthening in Latin America and the Caribbean region.The main objective of this year’s conference – Sustainability Reporting and Leveraging Technology for Regional Economic Development – is to promote dialogue on two fronts: i) how high-quality and decision-useful financial and sustainability reporting, both in the public and private sector can support the sustainable development agenda; and ii) the use of technology to improve core government systems, including those for greater transparency and accountability.
